DaMien M Casey

Damien M Casey is an Australian author who was born in Melbourne, Australia. Damien is a gifted artist, gardener, landscape gardener, oil painter and cricket tragic. Damien completed his horticultural studies at the prestigious Melbourne Botanic Gardens, Burnley Horticultural College and won a scholarship to the magnificent Kew Gardens in England. He currently works as head gardener at Manna Care nursing home in Doncaster, Melbourne. He has two children, Madeline and Mitchell, and a beautiful wife, Jacquie.

 

Damien's simple ethos in life is 'To attain perfection even when it's not possible'. In his working life, he has designed and installed hundreds of gardens both privately and commercially and ran a horticultural landscaping and gardening business for over thirty years. His aim is to provide the world with thoughtful, uplifting books that give the reader a sense of escape from the harsh realities of the world.
