The second series comprises three wonderful books:

The Lord of Lanvallay ( Part One ), The Rise of the Dark Horse ( Part Two ) and C'est L a Guerre ( Part Three ).The novels are set in the beautiful Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany in northwestern France in the early twentieth century. This is the golden era of France known as La Belle Époque.
